Here comes the

Sun.
Here come the drunken groups of gents who've spent all saturday afternoon in the beer gardens. Turning up to nightclubs to be singled out for their wearing of sandals and shorts with an all over body burn. The little patches of rain that fill a UK summer, even on a weekend, seem to do little to dampen their spirits, even if it does dampen their T-shirts.
Here come the hen nights, readying for the inevitable summer season of weddings. When fancy dressed and full of alcopops, wandering about the town from unsuspecting bar to unsuspecting pub or restaurant, terrifying the tourists.
Here come the tourists, in a long drawn out season of sight-seeing, over-indulging and re-capturing lost youth before encountering their real age in a club mainly packed with young locals.
Here come the mornings of walking out of the club when the sun is coming up and the chicks in the nest are squawking loudly. Trying to sleep as the sun stabs shafts of bright heat through my closed heavy curtains.
Here comes the seasonal sporting event guests to the city who always mean more hours and a load more bother.
I love the summer me.

Just a few questons really, when you "educate" someone out of a fire exit does the fire alarm not go off? If not, why not? Is it on a time delay or something.

Also, if you saw a guy in the middle of a scuffle restraining someone would you kick them out as well, or give them a hand shake and a free appletize (I'm a T Total)

I've only been in that situation once and I got dragged out in the first instance but then when the other two fought and I calmly explained what was going on I was allowed back in. (Army I.D. card helped a little too) Then he bought me a drink.

Anyway, keep up the good wook though, helping keep the underclass in the gutter :D

The fancy dress never stops all year round here, you can see it nearly every night of the week. The weather is getting warmer but we have a policy of no shorts, three quarter lenghts, flip flops or footwear that means you feet will look like ribbons after treading in broken glass. No if's or but's, you're not coming in. We do get visitors from other towns and cities but not many, they are usually here for either football or stag / hen night. Yes it is nice to be able to get back to wearing a shirt on the door again, not padding out in 4 or 5 layers.
